Meet Mr. Fatty!

Mr. Fatty lives at Moore's Soda Fountain on Main Street in Cedartown, Georgia. Every morning someone carries him out to the sidewalk and in the evening they carry him back inside. I called the business and asked for some history on him but after being passed to four different people I was finally told that he came with the business when it was bought several years ago. Moore's is the oldest soda fountain in the state of Georgia.

He does look a friendly guy! We probably wouldn't be able to call him Mr Fatty here as things are becoming absurbly politically correct. Manda had to go through a childrens story book called FAT Pig and change all the F's to P's in the name so it read PAT Pig

Hi Dot:
Mr. Fatty looks a lot like our Ex-Deputy Prime Minister... Mr. John Prescott

Ours looks to be more wooden than yours though.. ;)

I wish you could have got the history on Mr. Fatty. I know a man who now lives in an assisted living home in Rome that might be able to tell me the whole story about Mr. Fatty. I will try to remember to ask him the next time I see him. He goes into deep detail in every conversation so I am sure I could learn a lot about Mr. Fatty from him for you. Better yet, let me email you how you can get in touch with him.

Lordy, I thought for a minute the president had left the Whine House.

Thanks, dot, for the visit and nice comment.

Poor Mr.Fatty nobody knows where he is from.
Answer to your question:
When I created my blog everything went automatically and the photo's are on Picasa webalbum. In the beginning I thought the photo's were in my blog, but later on I find out they were in Picasa. I never created a Picasa-album, but it's there. Your older photo's are also in a Picasa-album en they enlarge (what a strange word).Maybe this template choose another album. I try to find out.

Well now that is a shame that 4 different employees don't know the history behind Mr Fatty...

Dot, you have such a good imagination that I think you should offer up a story about Mr. Fatty. Perhaps they'll incorporate it into their business plan.

Oh, a trip to an old soda fountain sounds wonderful. They've pretty much disappeared around here, but there's nothing like those old places where they still know how to make a milk shake that contains milk, not just a bunch of chemicals.
