I love hummingbirds and have taken lots of pictures of them. I just need to post some of them to my blog. Great photos! Love your blog.
I always see them flutter around the feeder and one day I saw one land. Dumb me thought it was something that a hummingbird had legs and feet. LOL Okay, I showed my ignorance. That is a wonderful picture Dot.
That's a masterpiece of a photo, Dot. You did something marvelous here.
Oh, he's so cute!! I didn't see a single hummingbird this year!Kelli
When I read your yesterdays post I thought "If Dot had got a photo of the Hummingbird it would have been good for the letter H!"....LOL...and you had :o)I've never seen one in real life and this is a brilliant photo.Rx
Beautiful.. both picture and bird. Alas we don't have these birds over in the UK, Jane and I are always amazed by them, and for you to be able to set up feeders and take superb pictures like this must give you great pleasure. 'H' for Hummiing with Happyness..
I have never been able to photograph a Hummer before. You did great. We don't get that many around her so it is always a special treat to see one.
Wonderful little fella!
Brilliant Photo, such clarity. Aren't they just gorgeous.
My favorite H this week! Your photo is stunning - I love it!!
Like everyone else I love hummingbirds too. All your photos are fantastic. You should make copies, have a show and sell them!
I can't believe you got a shot of one that was sitting, I have never seen one sitting still. Wonderful shot.
I protest! It just isn't fair that you live in such a wonderful place and can get such fantastic photos! :)What an amazing pic I never thought I'd come across a Humming bird today. :)
I love hummingbirds. Great photo and great subject for H.
Wow you're so lucky to get them where you live! WE have to go to butterfly sanctuaries/type places to see anything like your natural wildlife!
It does remind me a bit of Itchy my baby roborovski hamster.
That is a great close-up of a hummingbird as they are hard to capture still. :)
Such a wonderful shot! I love hummingbirds and we had some coming to our feeders all summer long...until 2 days ago they were still coming but now they're gone. I guess it's gotten a bit too cold for them around here. xox
Fantastic photo, Dot, with amazing detail!! Love it!
