Nature's Beauty

I found several spider webs in our woods today. I enjoy taking pictures of spider webs because it presents a challenge to see if they will show up on the camera. Some did and some didn't.

Good picture. Maybe I should show my spider in my Friday's blog. I was just sitting here thinking about which picture to use. It is so nice to have plenty of pictures. Guess when I start running low I will have to go on another vacation.

Cobwebs or spider webs this time of year, here in Ohio, are thicker and there are more lines per web than at any other time of year. I think for most spiders this is near the end of their life and they want to get that last meal in.

Nice photo.

This is a big looking web, and I shudder at the thought of the spider that made it.
A good tip I was given about Cob Weds and taking their pictures is to lightly spray them with water. Most households have spray bottles now, make sure no chemicals are still in them, fill with clean water and turn the spray to 'Mist'.. most Webs show up well then and no harm is done to wed or spider.

Wonderful. Love the way the light is reflected! Beautiful. It just goes to show what beauty is out there even on a rainy day like today!

Taking pictures of spider webs in the morning when the dew is still on them would work too instead of spraying them. Nice photo!

Never heard of a cob web, is it the same as a spider web? Probably it is a stupid question. Good photo.

Your photo made me think about the fall when we had a huge web covering our entire picture window. We watched that web for days and days.

Good picture--even though I don't like spider webs.

A wonderful photo. I really like this one. Something different. This one would be great around Halloween.
