I was looking and looking for the spider then went back and read your post again and see you are just showing the web. The droplets of rain makes the picture more interesting. When did you have rain?
You could win a photo contest with your pictures. I still want a new camera like yours. You said it was a Canon....what did it cost? I am guessing $1000.00.
Fantastic Dot, that's one scary web but one excellent photograph. I have walk through fields in the morning and the cobwebs are sparkling with dew, but I had not a camera at them times, I will be ready next time I verture out that early.
Nice spider web shot. Patty and I found a hole large enough for a golf ball to disappear in. And it was in my front yard and it had a perfect web woven into it in the shape of a funnel. Honest. We never saw the spider but later discovered it was an exit hole for a chipmunk. I guess the spider took advantage of it.
If you see it, keep it away from me!!!! lol I really do have this horrible fear of spiders, brrrrrr!! What a beautiful shot, though, the web seems that much more intricate with the rain on it. xox
What a stunning photo, Dot! This one needs to be entered into a contest somewhere!! You are doing so well with that new camera! Good job! (I don't wish to see the spider who lives there either....lol)
Nice pictre Dot. We do not seen to have many spiders where we live. Our orb weavers spin webs just like that one - they make such interesting subjects.

Dot - I bet it's that spider that posted about a couple posts down - he looks big enough for it!
Great image - love the raindrops!

Those droplets look like jewels. Lovely Dot :o)
This is very beautiful, especially the waterdrops. The answer to your question about "The eye" is on my blog.
