On the beach at Cumberland Island

We had to walk down the beach approximately 2 miles then cut back across the sand dunes and to a ranger station where the ferry picked us up and took us back to St. Mary's. I would have liked to visit the part of the island where JFK Jr. and Caroline Bisset were married but it is privately owned.

Beautiful pictures of the beach Dot. My husband and I enjoy walking on the beach when we are vacationing.

What a great set of pictures, it's strange how we look at each others pictures and wish to be there. I would give up the lush fields and hills, the valley streams and woodland walks... just to stroll along that beach for a day..

Loved the star fish.

The collage has that real "feel" of a day at the beach.

I've often said that if I ever get clincally depressed that I don't want any medications. I just want a holiday on the white sands by the blue sea. I know it would be healing.

mama Ilove how you put those pictures together. you know it really was as pretty as the pictures. I see you got a picture of Forest's shrimpin boat. You know he named the boat after Jenny but called the buisness "BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP". It was nice to see one of Forest's boats from the island. Love u

Wonderful collage - the colors are vibrant! I love walking on the beach... but what i love most is to hear the waves crashing. There is something so peaceful about hearing the ocean.

Wow DOT!
I love those collages!!!! They are very pretty, uum how much is 2 miles in comparison with kilometers? (answer on my blog please) very pretty to publice 8 /9?(uuuh ;) haha!!) photo's of such a beautiful spot!!!

Oooow your sweet doggy yeh I would keep het too, hahaha dis you know that our dog should be a FULL' bernese Mountain dog'? hmmm I don't think so because :
1) she should have 4 white feet but she has just 2 white feet,
2) she must have a white spot/hair on her little snoopy-head, which she has not, haha!
3) her weight should be 45 kilo and her reall weight is 30 kilo's
BUT.......
We adore her and we would NEVER give her back to the farm she came from, so uuuuh we payed the fuull price, but her (the dog) i worth a million or more , not te express in money...

Your dog is such an adorable sweet head pooopydoopysnoopy , hugh!!! And DOT, YOU are sweet too!

Bye kisses from JoAnn
