They are such pretty birds. I've been missing your blog, not sure how I've been missing it, but clicked on one of your comments (in another blog) to get here. Nice catching up. You take great photos!
Pretty cardinal but I still catch myself scrolling down to see that dog climbing the tree. I cannot quit laughing. That was a great capture and I think one of your funniest pictures yet.
These are very nice shots of the cardinals at your feeding station. Cardinals are almost always the first to eat in the morning and the last to eat just before it gets dark.
Hi! I found your site today and your pictures are beautiful! I have lots of pictures on my website too... Right now I am in the middle of my 24 days of Christmas photos event. Please feel free to stop by anytime. I will be back to visit for sure!
Your pictures are great Dot. Well done. I have some practising to do, I can see that. The cardinal is so colourful, it is a male isn't it. We seldom see them here, but I've been told the females are not as red. xo
This is a G R E A T shot of such a small bird Dot! I tried this several times and the result was so lousy, so you did this very well. I like it very much:)
Come and see my blog, I posted for a change a HUGH (international) 'my tree':), see if you like this kind?
These are wonderful shots. This is a beautiful bird. This past spring a couple graced our view, and it was wonderful. The female was more red than I would have thought possible. This fellow in your photo is very handsome. A pin up for cardinals!
I think I've seen a cardinal here maybe twice. And always at the transition area from woods to field. They flit around too much to get a good zoom focus. I never knew their beaks were red, too! How cool!

I have never seen one in person but then I don't have a bird feeder either.
Grat shots of the Cardinals.
They are beautiful with bright colours. :)
Lucky them, eating from your feeder. :)
Great colours and as usual good captures. Do you have a camera permanently focused on the plate?
wonderful captures and colors
Pretty birds :)

Birds are like men; the way to their heart is through their stomach!
We have plenty of cardinals here in Pa. Maybe they are waiting for the weather to get colder before venturing down your way.
He loves the sunflower seeds and they invite him to return.

Dot, I changed my post because of what you said. The site the child had printed off was call nazarite or something like that. very distrubing indeed.
I was wrong on the Church's name too...was not the Witnesses.
The cardinal is so pretty.Looks as if the bird is posing for you.Great shots!

Wow, that is just beautiful!
I have never seen a cardinal in my area. You must have been very patient waiting and watching. I like how you put the 4 photos onto 1 image.
Dot, what magnificent pix of cardinals!!
Ohh I love cardinals! Lovely shots.
