Today's Flowers

This looks very similar to a dandelion but I really don't think it is so I'll just call it a Georgia wildflower. Visit Luiz to sign Mr. Linky and see more beautiful flowers from around the world.

My friend Aileni, who is also a contributing member of my blog The World in Black & White is starting something new called Monochrome Monday. Hope you will check it out!

Dot, I have these all over my yard. Aren't dandelions the blow flowers? Anyway, they are all over the yard too. One day, they will take over the grass.

I can't remember what it is called either but the ends of the petals are "fringed" and that makes it distinctive. We have them here so not just a Georgia wildflower.

A lovely Georgia Wildflower (Georgianus Wildflowericus?) :)

Thanks for the birthday wishes - I wish I were still 20... alas, I'm one shy now of 30. The top of the hill is coming into sight. :)

Hi Dot Thank you for your visits. I love this simple flower and agree it is not a dandelion - it's prettier! lol

I have joined both these memes one on Reflections and one on a new site which I think you have found which I call Cath's Cradle. Please drop in any time. I'm hoping to get the second once going with more "food for thought" stuff but we'll see...;0)
