Last week my daughter and I took a tour of Savannah. This is an area called City Market which is mostly side walk cafes and other eating places. We couldn't resist the place with the red umbrellas! We had pralines and a few other things. Oh so good!!

Neat images, Dot! Some day, I will get to Savannah. My wife has visited there, and loved it!
Hi Dot. I tried talking the parents into moving to Savannah or just out from it. The answer was no. I'd love to visit there one day. Maybe on my next trip home.
Brings back memories. I lived in Savannah for 10 years. A really great town with great history and great fishing....summers are a little oppressive but life's a trade-off.
Oh! Please send em some divinity! I love it!!!!!!! My favorite kind of candy. Maybe because we used to make it when I wa young. Had to have a day with no rain tho. . . Ü

I remember going to Savannah when I was little w/ my grandparents - the year that the World's Fair was in Knoxville, Tn
It looks like a nice place to stroll and take time to sit and eat something. Did you taste "divinity"?(I wonder what it can be!!..)
Savannah is a wonderful city! Looks like the weather was lovely for a stroll around town.
I still say my husband and I need to head down to your beautiful part of the country. What a fun time.
