Little Robin Redbreast

When my kids were growing up they had a big book of Mother Goose Rhymes. This picture reminds me of one we used to read together.

Little Robin Redbreast
Sat upon a rail;
Niddle, naddle, went his head,
Wiggle, waggle, went his tail.

That is a great shot. They don't pose for long so you must've been quick on the trigger.

tone1971I loved that book Mama. I should get the Little Package one. She woke me up (it 3A.M.). She was talking in her sleep! Wonder where she got that from. Love you.

How marvelous! By the time my camera gets the birds in fucus, they've flown off.

When the red, red robin comes bob, bob bobbin' along,
along,
There'll be no more sobbing when he starts throbbing
His own sweet song.

Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head,
Get up, get up, get out of bed,
Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red,
Live, love, laugh and be happy.

Remember that song?
