Project Yellow

I just found Anna's nice blog today and she has her Project Yellow going on this week so I decided to join in. Can you see my yellow leaf? This is not a pond but just a low area that didn't drain well after some heavy rains.

This is great! I love the leaf. Thanks for coming by my blog and taking a look. I bet you will be seeking out yellow this week even with out realizing it!

It looks like someone flattened a banana and set it afloat :) It catches the sun nicely.

Kinda sticks out like it was left over from fall.

You guys actually got rain?! Last time I heard about Georgia on the news was the Atlanta tornado and your terrible drought. I hope this rain has brought an end to the drought.

Love your contribution to project yellow. Thanks for stopping by Dot.

It's pretty Dot. I would make myself small and jump on that leaf and have fun floating around.

Nope. I didn't--at first. Then I closed out my bookmarks, and voila! It appeared.

I'm divided on how to feel about the rain. I want my newly planted grass seed to grow (without me having to water it), but my son's soccer practices have begun. I'm the assistant coach, so I have to go splashing up and down those wet fields with the kids.

Ah, what the heck... bring it on!
