Little Post Office
This is certainly not the smallest post office in the world but I think it's cute. It's located on a back road in the middle of no where. (the people who live in that community would probably not like to hear me say that!) Just for the record, the smallest post office in America is located in Ochopee, Florida.

Cute is a good word. I won't tell them if you don't. :)
Beautiful black and white photo of the 'Little Post Office'. It looks like a friendly kind of place.
Cute and quaint!
Cute and charming. :)
You have such a talent for capturing the things that make rural America!
Dot: That is a great shot in B&W. Sometimes it gives it a certain appeal.

Very nice, wonderful it still exist. I'm glad you got the card, on the internet you can find information about a "Hunebed", I'll post some of my photos later.
Doesn't it look like it was created for children to play in? Like the backyard playhouse? I think black and white was the perfect way to post this!
Tee hee.Funny how so many people don't want to admit they live in the middle of nowhere. ;-)
Well, I used to live int the middle of nowhere and liked it. I haven't moved but a lot of other people have, and now nowhere is becoming somewhere.
Tiny post offices are slowly being closed here in Canada. Up north in the real boonies people have to drive mega distances to post packages and heavy letters. I don't think it's fair. Canada Post is a private company, the reason we pay WAY more to mail a package or letter than Americans do.
OK. I'll step off my soapbox. ;-)
This sure reminds me of times past. Very cute little PO indeed..
How quaint - love your B&W's!
love the use of b/w dot. lovely.
I wonder what the population is?
Used to be a real small one at Waskom, TX too. I enjoy pictures of rurality. Pappy
Sweet ...

Haaaa, as if i know whom to tell, ok i will tell them of your great wisdom. Nice blog
I checked out that teeny, tiny post office... I have more elbow room in my office cubicle!
It is tiny, probably no more than one customer at a time.
I grew up where the post office was about this size.
p.s. I forgot to say that it is sure a coincidence--I came so close to titling my post today as Wide Open Spaces! We must be on the same wave length or something.
It sure is a cute little post office.
I live slap in the middle of nowhere and love it! Matter of fact, I think our post office may have that one beat on smallness.
Great picture.
Have a good day.
I like this shot Dot.... apart from the post office which is quaint... the whole picture is great.
It probably serves the community well, given that it is a small town...Reminds me of the very tiny Grantville train depot that back during the late 70's and early 80's was serving as a police station/temporary jail. lol
That's a lovely photo!
Love the B&W. It looks like the picture came right out of an old paper/magazine clipping.
Cute. Have you ever noticed how small Bowdon Junctions post office is?
Glad to see they still have a post office. Most little towns no longer have them.
Good capture!
