Today's Flowers

I call this very common lily a native day lily. I've also heard it called a ditch lily because many are seen growing in ditches around America.

These grow in ditches in America?
Wow. Beautiful ditches. That is a gorgeous colour - very like the tiger lily which is that colour plus it has stripes going through it.

Very striking. Excellent shot.

Love those ditch lilies. I have gone on the side of the road and dug some out to put around my yard. They grow everywhere around here.

I posted a flower today or yesterday similar to this except mine is a hibiscus. This is a day lily or something similar to that I would guess and a nice shot of it too.

I haven't heard them called ditch lilies before. Maybe they're not as common up here. Such a pretty flower to beautify lowly places.

Very nice photo. I have these everywhere around my house. At least they look like these anyway. I want to dig some of them up and then out my garden a little, but I've been too lazy. LOL There is a lot of work waiting for me..
