Lizard Love Story?

What bored people do. My mother loves it when a lizard gets in the house. At 89 that's a little excitement in her life. My mother, sister, and I watched these two lizards meeting in the window and wondered if they were going to fight or what.
They met without incident and then passed on.
Each went his separate way.
This one looks back as if he (or she) is thinking of lost love.
Maybe this one is thinking "who could love someone as ugly as me".

Good pics - and observation. Creatures have spirits and emotions just like humans do. Some pair, or chose a mate for life.

Love Story is a good oldie - I read that book in the 5th grade - Ali McGraw and Ryan O'Neal did a good job in the movie. Now that I look back, I think one would have expected Ali's character (movie) to have been just a little more....raw - as it was in the book. A very sad ending.

I never have been willing to read "Oliver's Story", the sequel. Maybe one day.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. Lizards can be good company, and they eat mosquitos. Pappy

Cute pictures, especially with the music. You made me smile. So cool that you get to spend time with your mom at age 89. What a wonderful blessing that is. Enjoy each moment.

PS. - My camera is a Canon EOS Rebel XT- I love it very easy to use. Thanks for your comments.

The images are very neat! A little creepy for me being in the house though. I'm squeamish. Loved your play by play of the meeting!

Merry Christmas Dot and many blessings for your New Year!

It's strange to see lizards in december. Around here, they sleep all winter long and come back in summer, where they spend long hours sleeping in the sun.And why would not they have love stories? But I prefer when they do that in THEIR home , and not mine...

That's cute. I don't believe as one commenter stated, that creatures have spirits like humans do, but it sure is fun to write up little personifications like you did here.

Hey, Merry Christmas!

DOT - My name is on the list on The World in Black & White - does that mean I've been excepted? Or am I just on the list to be excepted, because the blog isn't showing up on my dashboard right now. Oh this is exciting = thank you!

Nice story to go with your pics. It just looks like two lizards crossing in the night or day in this case. Lizards are kind of cute but you won't see me picking up one.

Happy holidays to you and your family!

As an immigrant, I know how they must feel. It is good to find others of your own flock when you are in a strange place. The pastels through the window make a beautiful backdrop. Did you let them back outside?

I hate lizards. When I lived in Hawaii, they would run around on the walls. I used to kill them by sucking them up in my vacuum. I am a lizard murderer.
