This was taken at Cave Springs, Georgia, a tiny little town southwest of Rome. There really is a spring and a cave. People go to the spring and fill jugs with the water which has won awards for it's purity and taste and is also commercially bottled. The cave was closed the day we visited.
Check out Watery Wednesday for more water pictures.

Great picture, Dot. Love the reflections.

Dot, this is a wonderful capture. I love the ducks and all the reflections.
You mean to tell me Dubya and his buddies actually left a place where you can drink the water?
Wonders never cease. I should visit there...
awesome place for ducks! love the reflections in the water, beautiful..
Hi Dot,
Nice to see you here with a great photo!
Lovely shot. I love the color and reflections in the water. Can't help but wonder about the taste of that water with the geese swimming around in it. :-D
Great reflection on the water. Well-done!
I wonder how they keep the water pure with ducks swimming in it. I guess the pure water must be coming up from underground.
Lovely reflection!
Oooh duckies - love em! The reflection in the water is great.
There are not many places anymore where you can fill jugs with the water.
Have a nice day !
Lovely photo! So peaceful. And you can drink the water? :)
Reflection is great, like the sound of the place, Cave Springs.. good name for a novel. :D
So peaceful and pretty. I'd love to taste the water sometime.
That looks like such a nice day to be out. I am kind of starting to look forward to warm weather.
Nice place to visit, so calming.
So peaceful looking.
Watery Wednesday is something new to me, great picture I like the reflections. Hugs
Beautiful. I have been through Cave Springs but have never stopped for a visit. I would love to go. I have heard they have a wonderful school for the deaf there too.
This picture warms me up on a cold Georgia morning!
ducks swimming, sweet light, green grass, reflections...It looks more like a summer picture than a winter one!...
Beautiful! The reflection on the water is great. Like a stream of light and the ducks look so nice in that lovely water.
I guess someone were about to throw them some bread as they so eagerly all swim in the same direction.
It looks so spring like .. so warm...
Oh this picture makes me yearn for Spring to come. It looks so warm and inviting.
I like the shadows and sun on the water. I'd love to see this place someday.
Nice photo. I enjoyed the ducks although whole scene is beautiful.
Love the reflections on the ripples. Great effect.
Thanks for stopping by.

Looks like a wonderful place -- I could go for some of that spring water. We have places back home in Idaho for that too.
Oh, this is beautiful Dot!
I love the reflections in the water. It all seems so peaceful (and warm).
Thanks for sharing! And for the kind comments!
Hi Dot,
Here from Dewdrop's site and because of Skywatch Fri. These reflections are gorgeous! So crisp as if I was right there.
Dot, I have actually been to Cave Springs too but not to where you took your photo. My Daddy was at a convention so I took a bus tour to Cave Springs. I bought a Rhett Butler t-shirt that said, "Frankly, my dear...." Who knew then I'd name my son Rhett? LOL
