Cross Spider

My husband is very good about finding things for me to take pictures of while he is out and about. He was taking the pole bean supports down last week and called me to come see this spider. My stepdaughter noticed the cross on this one's back and when I did a google search I was very surprised to see that there really are spiders called cross spiders. Can you see the cross?

Yes, I see the cross. That is amazing. I do not recall ever seeing a spider like that one before. That is very thoughtful of your husband to help you find interesting things to take pictures of. Is this "cross spider" a dangerous spider? I know, I will go ask Google.com.

Yes, I see it. I cannot believe I'd willing look at even a photo of a spider long enough to see it, but I did because your photos are so well-done, inspiring even. You've got to tell us--is it a particularly bad spider for us humans?

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do like taking photos with people in them, but sometimes I know I don't have time to stop and ask permission--might miss the bus, etc.--so I tend to take a great many of nature and inanimate objects.

I'm happy that you enjoyed my sons in the kitchen with Dave.

Oh er...is it poisonous?

you could probably sell it on ebay...someone sold a piece of concrete from the drive that they said had the image of Jesus on it.

Interesting... and I think it's so cute that your husband helps you look for things to take pictures of... that's teamwork!

I am sure there are people on E-bay who would pay a pretty penny for a picture of the spider with a cross on its back. Even more for the hapless spider.

I had never seen one like this and don't know if I looked when I saw a spider.

Nice shot.

Yes I can see it, the spider in/on my previous post is also a crossspider but Abraham told me that they call them Barnspiders. Confusing isn't it? Thank you for your explanation about the Hershey's.
