How old would these barns be about Dot.. you really are responsable for my new found interest in such buildings.. in fact when I'm blogging now and see a water tower I think of you right away. Thank you for opening my eyes to these beauties.
Those were big days back then when companies like Purina and Mail Pouch painted logos on barns and I guess this is a survivor. Nice to see it hanging in there and on the roof no less.
I love the writing on the roof. That's a skill that you don't see much any more.... painted signs on roofs or walls..... apart from graffiti of course!
This old barn or shed is located in Loxley Alabama. I'm not sure what it was for but I'm thinking probably a feed store.

Do you think it is just a regular old barn with an advertisement on it? You know like years ago all the barns said, "SEE ROCK CITY"
