Alabama Barn

Someone once told me about a big barn in this area that was used for music and dancing on weekends. I've always wondered if this is the one. It's really big and looks to be in great shape.
About the feathers in yesterday's post. That is not a feather duster but actually a vase full of feathers.

Barns are so much fun. This one looks to be in great shape. I always wanted to turn a barn into a house.

Fabulous barn! I'm with Nessa, I think renovating a barn into a house would be kind of neat....I have a series of books that I used to read where the main character has done that....it sounded wonderful!

It must be big as it has three cupulos (I think that's what they're called) for air vents.

Happy birthday. Are we celebrating with you in this barn? Count me in!

Thanks for your visit to my blog Brookville Daily Photo this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the honey bee and the hollyhock flower.

I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.

Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?

I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good too. If you are talking about the barn you took a picture of it sure looks like there would be more than enough room in the field to park the cars and pickups. Well maybe not pickups since gasoline is over $4.00 a gallon. Well, maybe not cars. Maybe bikes.
