Odd Shots

A few weeks ago we took a trip over to Fort Payne, Alabama. Fort Payne is the home of the famous Alabama band and we saw this car located on the wall of a body shop not far from the Alabama fan club. Notice the license plate. I like the title my daughter gave me....Don't let Jesus be your co-pilot. Let him do all the driving!!
Visit Katney for more Odd Shots.

This is hilarious. Great street art, for a body shop.

I am glad it is just an attention getter, though these things do happen. I thought it was for real just for a second.

WOW I am glad I wasn't driving that one!

I love this.

Clever of the shop to do that...I expected the license plate to be from Florida :-)

Dot: What a really neat shot, someone did a lot of work for that display.

A pretty eye-catching ad for a business. Wonder if they have the other end in pristine condition.

My Odd Shot is A slight disconnect.

Or maybe Jesus crashed??

Those are odd shots for sure. Love the car one.

I really enjoy listening to your music on your blog. Very enjoyable, usually I wouldn't say that but it does add a lot.

Your Cherokee Rock is nice too. Is it in the Smokey Mountains? I seem to remember that it is, my inlaws live not far from this area so I might get to visit it one day. Have a great Dot and everyone.

I saw such a thing in Berlin,on some parts of the Wall, but the car crash was only painted!anyway, it was already attractive for eyes and attention, but yours is stronger!a great odd shot (and once more, I really love the music that goes with it! it's a good way to make me stay a long time on your blog!! Ü)

I have seen this kind of ad before. . . I wonder if the license plate was an exclamation by the driver who ran into the wall (supposedly). If it were a real plate, I would think they would have taken it off because Vanity plates cost a fortune.

Oh my goodness, that certainly is ODD. Great picture.

Cool Odd Shot, Dot. I love Alabama! Did you get to see them by any chance? I have a signed autographed poster of all but the drummer. I'd gone to the concert w/ a guy who had to go to work immediately afterwards. He lived in Valley. That was fine with me because I grabbed my mom & took her back down to the auditorium. We we almost the last in line for autographs. I got pictures and we both got kisses. Sigh. Everyon things my hubby looks a lot like Randy, the lead singer.

I have a sister in law that lives in Fort Payne. Never saw that funny looking car, though. Well, actually I never really visited her that much so that car was easy to miss.

Oh my! Clever advertising ploy for the auto place ~ a real attention grabber.

Great "odd" shot!

Looks like another scene from the Dukes of Hazzard with Roscoe driving the vehicle in your picture. :)

Good advertising! And good for a chuckle. too. ;-)

Definitely an attention getter! Oh, and I'd want Jesus with me, too... but more in the front, I think ;-)

Ohhhh .. such a perfect odd shot.. and a good giggle here for me

My late MIL had a bumper sticker:
Jesus is my Co-Pilot.

Sigh. I wonder how many people steered clear of her?

Ya'll come! :D

DANG, maybe the driver has a rigged up sign changer that displayes the drivers thoughts?

AVCr8teur said...

That certainly will draw attention; hopefully, not to get someone in a wreck.

I met the boys from "Alabama" in the airport in Tyler, TX before they really made it big. I sure do like their music. Made Fort Payne famous didn't they? I love folks who add a little humor to the things they do daily. Pappy

Only JC came close to saying what should have been said about this photo.... Your caption should have read...."Dont let Jesus be your co-pilot stupid....Let HIM do all the driving!!" lol. It applies to life in general dont you think!

This is just too funny and the license plate is beyond just finished me off. High five to your daughter for the perfect title. I think you have material for the "Fail" part of "I Can Has Cheezburger".
